It was Christmas Eve and it was tradition that every Christmas eve my dad would read us twas the night before Christmas. That was the one thing that my sister and I were very excited about so it was that time. We ran up stairs jump up and down of excitement and said dad, dad it is time for you to read us twas the night before Christmas and he said first I have something to tell you and we said what. Then he told us our grandmother was going to stay the night at our house so that she could see us open our gifts. My sister and my were very excited cause we hardly get to see our grandmother. Then he came with more news that my Aunt Kay and Uncle Dave were going to drive over here tomorrow in the morning at eight o’clock in the morning to also see us open our gifts. But, one catch to that was we could not open our gifts until they got there “which was ok I guess”! Now that we have heard the news we asked my dad can we go read the book now and he said ok that’s fine. That’s when we raced downstairs jumped on the bed yelling dad come on he was down stairs now and we all laid down and listened to him read it and when he was almost down with the story, both me and my sister were asleep but then my dad woke us up and said we have two more things to do. Then me and my sister knew both of them first we had to lay out cookies and milk for Santa then carrots and chocolate milk for the reindeer and then we had to write a letter for Santa which was so much fun . After that all of us, my mom, dad, grandma, me and my sister had to sit around the tree and open one gift which it was candy! This is really yum. The candy was life saviors. That is all of our Christmas traditions.
